Ermmm the whole carb diet and fad diets for that matter are not healthy. If you look at them they inhibit things from your diet. Carbs are not bad, in fact they are the energy the brain uses. Its all the excess we eat here that makes things so bad. The excess sugars, salts, and fats.
Same thing with LDL and HDL cholesterol. Its just a matter of what and how you eat, along with your daily activity. I find that eating healthy and being conscious of what you put into your body will help dramatically. For instance I have been soft drink free for over 2 years now and I am extremely gym oriented and man has it helped alot. That and going to read at barnes and nobles health section really put things into perspective.
And of course you can not deny genetics. Some people just hit the jackpot.
I just ask for no Mayo if I order anything that may come with it. I never really liked the taste.
